That green over us is moisture and that dotted blue 540 line is the rain snow line. We're on the snow side of it.

Nope, that particular update says Saturday. It's like 12-24hrs faster with the storm. Lets see if its a new trend moving forward.

So there was still no frost in the morning.
Temps were there. Humidity didn't seem to be there though - everything was dry. But at least today was the first below freezing day.

Ahh, I knew was coming from that direction, didnt know it was Willa's remnants. Thats why the details are changing! Models dont have best data from that area of the pacific.

A look at the temp & snowfall departures past 20 yrs.

Some Notes:


• Past 5 January's have had above normal snow.
• 4 of the last 6 March's had above normal snow.
• Last time with above normal snow in November was 2012
• Haven't had a below normal Temp in February since 2015

• 5 of last 7 December Temps been above normal
• 1 of last 6 March Temps been above normal
• Only 2002-03 & 2013-14 had all months with below normal temps
• 2001-02, 2011-12 & 2015-16 had all above normal temps

You missed April and May, which I realize isn't technically winter but it's sure felt like that the past couple of years!
