Alright, changed the location. Ziptied it to a chain link fence at 5 ft. Is this considered ok?

58° and Cloudy here. Was sunny this morning but the clouds are taking over. Nice 60s and sun at the coasts

Check out the snow in the Adirondacks.

That green moisture on the map means its snowing above 3500'. 5000' temps are below freezing.

Looks good. Do you think the cold of the metal will affect it? Find a coop station near you and compare. After some time you'll get a feel if its really off or not.

Thanks! Harder frost tomorrow morning. Freeze potential too. That reminds me... where's the scraper?

A look at the 850mb temps (5000'). Cold air mass about to come over us. When that freezing line aloft passing over you'll feel it. It will drop south to Virginia and off the coast so we'll be inside the cold trough. This sets the stage for a cold surface.

Saw it. Huffed. Puffed. Ignored. 5-10" snowstorm for Maine. Pattern is screaming for it. Have to keep watching out.
