Moderate-Heavy snow falling in SouthWestern PA.

It's below freezing above our heads couple thousand feet up.
So if it stays cold we may see frozen precip at the start

Smells like snow outside. Can't believe how cold it was today. lol

It's coming... Moderate to Heavy snow reported in Scranton past hour or so. Raining in Reading though.

Litchfield might start seeing flakes now. A lot of that front edge is not reaching the ground yet

Should we start to keep track of the snowfall misses? That would be kinda cool. Never thought of doing that before. Maybe we'll do majority of CT and using 2"+?

Im impressed past couple days its felt like winter because its not crazy cold aloft. Interesting.

And GFS12z says winter is here to stay next 2 weeks.
Obviously anything past 7 days is subject to change. Looks like a snow to rain event day after Thanksgiving

They got a game Sunday and I believe 1-2 feet is expected during it. I love watching football and snow so I'll tune in.

Currently in the 40s across Connecticut and we're missing snows all around us. lol
Look at my sisters house south of Buffalo. She's in a cold spot at 32° in mid afternoon! Here I am thinking 40s is COLD! I must still not be acclimated after those 70s 2 weeks ago

I'm looking for 60s and 70s to do final yard work before hosting Thanksgiving, stubborn leaves still on trees; but its not happening anymore lately. So I'll take upper 40s as a "warm up" I guess. lol

What a pattern we are in. Lets see if it erases the anomalous warmth from beginning of month
