Does anyone (in Fairfield County) remember how much snow we got (and really, how often it snowed) 2 years ago (fall of 2017 into early 2018) in Fairfield County? Or do you at least recall if it was a mild winter or a bad winter? For the life of me I have no recollection.

Or perhaps there's a good (free?) website I can use (I pulled up a bunch on Google but they were all useless) that would show me snow events 2 years ago by zip code?

I need to know for business purposes for a building that the company I work for owns (related to annual snow plowing expenses).

Thank you!

There is a poster on CD and his name is Cambium. He posts tons of stuff about CT weather. I think he lives in Fairfield County. I sent him a message to look in on this topic. If there is anyone who can answer this question it's him.

I seem to remember it was a light snow season but we shall see what Cambium says.

October 2017: Very warm and wet
November 2017: Normal and dry
December 2017 was cold and snowy
January 2018: Cold & Snowy
February 2018: Warm, Wet, & 1 snowstorm. Teens and 20s in beginning

The only "Official" station in Fairfield county is Bridgeport Sikorsky (BDR). Here is the snowfall totals for every winter since the 1950s. 2017-18 was well above normal.

Also it's good to remember that Jan 7th, 2018, it hit -11 on the CT Coast (I think Sikorsky only got to -7 so that's the offiical temp), but both Fairfield and Stamford got to -11. Dec 2017/Jan 2018 were brutally cold!

No problem. Thanks.

My condo in Milford apparently paid $28,000 to plow snow last year and the complex isn't huge. A year it barely snowed... until March..

November:6.2"
December: 1.2"
January: 2.3"
February: 3.6"
March: 15.6"

So I understand why you're asking. Budget accordingly. Don't get ripped off by these plow companies.
