Orangewood is in a good area. Are you looking to move out and buy a house? The Hilltop is nice

Just curious, was that town Mt. Vernon or did you just work there? The "south side" and "numbered streets" made me think it.......

Yeah, Fleetwood is the "good" section, that's where I live for the time being, but I know what you're saying well because I grew up in Mt. Vernon and my folks had a convenience store in the area you're thinking of. It was pretty bad even in the days of their store (70s thru late 80s). Anyway, don't want to go off-topic, just noting.

I was just on the Merritt commuting from Stamford to Glastonbury. I got on the Merritt in Norwalk headed northbound and it was stop and go all the way to the 91 merge. Friday traffic really sucks!

Believe it or not, Thursday's are typically worse than Friday in the summer. Happy commuting and welcome to the club!

Thursday I got on the Merritt from the route 8 connector in Bridgeport and didn't think it was that bad once I got past that route 8 to Merritt ramp merge.

There's only so many shortcuts to try and they're all basically the same. There's gonna be traffic no matter if you're on 95 or Merritt. Each day is different.

I'm hopefully getting a new car soon and that might improve the comfort of the ride.
