Do you hear Matthews quoting Marx? Do you hear Matthews advocating communal ownership of private industry? Me Neither. Matthews makes $5 million a year and has a reported net wealth of $16 million. Does that sound like a communist to you? Me
Without looking it up -- do you know who Engels is?
We are discussing Chris Matthews, who is MSNBC's flagship program, no? And your argument that Chris Matthews cannot be communist, because of his wealth, which wasn't exactly my point, but whatever.
I brought up Engels, the co-father of Marxism and Communism, who was a wealthy man himself. Are you re-defining trolling now, so now it also encompasses any disagreement with your ignorance?

I see now! You're so right! Engels and Matthews are wealthy, thus they are both communists. So by your thinking, it only follows that all wealthy people are... COMMUNISTS! Got It.

Wrong again. There are wealthy people who have embraced communism in the past and now.

I would argue, and I think effectively, that both parties are in bed with big business. The difference between Democrats and Republicans is Democrats at least have the interests of the middle class in mind when they legislate. Republicans? They have succeeded in intentionally demolishing the middle class so as to further enrich the 1%.
Could you please provide a few examples of how the Demcrats "at least have the interests of the middle class in mind when they legislate."?

Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Pell Grants, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the Affordable Health Care Act, the FHA and the 2009 middle class tax cuts come to mind. All of which Republicans opposed.
