He was with MA for only a year before leaving for a better offer in 2016. Who wants to deal with that mess? But he was replaced by another European.
Okay, that seems to gell with my recollection. When things are going to hell, they are willing to hire a non-Bumi but once it gets straightened out they will put a Bumi in charge. Been there, done that, didn't want the stinkin' T-shirt.
I took a run down, failing MBA program and turned it around. They took it away from me and gave it to a Bumi. It began to run down again and I said "Not interested" when queried if I wanted to straighten it out again.
The annual "possible MH370 location found' news release
This is the same report that was posted and discussed last year. I don't see anything new here, except that someone's decided to do a search based on it. We'll see how the search effort goes; with luck the hopes this raises won't turn out to be false, but it's still going to be a difficult search, I think.
Government officials in Malaysia said on Sunday they'd be open to resuming the search for Malaysian Airlines MH370 after a private company approached them about potential new evidence pointing to the location of the Boeing 777.
"The Malaysian Government's position is consistent," officials said in a statement. "We will commission a further search operation when new information and credible evidence is ascertained."
I guess we'll eventually see if they will search since they won't get paid unless they do find the plane.
