Just out of curiosity, how in the world do you sink a ferry?. Was there a big storm in the area?

Some speculation is that a rapid course change caused some unsecured cargo to shift. That will do it - the sea is not a forgiving environment.

Comparing this ferry to the missing plane with 239 people aboard; the ferry was in sight, why did this happen? Every person should have been rescued; excuses are not valid here. These are people we are talking about. Have we lost sight how valuable human life is? Have the people in charge of transportation become too complacent? Where were the life jackets?

So many questions and it seems not enough time. Safety should be the top priority in the transportation of precious cargo. IMHO!!!!!
