One of the articles I saw mentioned that he posted on the bodybuilding.com forum. Some of those guys have drifted over here to the relationships board and generally post some pretty disturbing things about women and relationships.
I agree with you about the relationship board. I tried posting there for a couple of months and realized how many really sicko people (mostly males) are posting over there. Its a very unhealthy atmosphere to hang out in.
Yet another reason to have greater restrictions pertaining to firearms.

This kid had everything going for him, he did not have to work, had money, had cars, only thing he did not have were parents that were willing to tan his backside when he needed it.
I just have a question, which of the commiefornia gun laws failed ? the one that says you cannot murder another person, or the one that says you cannot carry a loaded gun in the passenger compartment, or the one that said all firearms must be stored in a locked container in the trunk, separate from the ammo ? I wonder if the gun was on the approved "safe" gun list.

I wonder if California doesn't have gun laws prohibiting guns on college campuses? Even Texas has gun laws prohibiting guns on campuses.

There does seem to be a connection with affluence.
Adam Lanza came from a very wealthy family, John Holmes was from a privileged liberal California background, the Columbine killers had well-to-do liberal parents. Now this one, another rich kid.
None are from redneck backgrounds, none suffered poverty or having parents who made them get jobs.

Gun laws are working great in California, and their taxes still support welfare red states like Arizona that can't support themselves. Criminals just commute to Nevada to buy firearms at gun shows without any background check.
I have a family member with Aspergers and know that it's a really difficult diagnosis. But in the case of my relative, the symptoms and behavior patterns are textbook examples. The most striking thing about people with Aspergers is their high level of intelligence coupled with a near complete inability to socialize with peers. That's obvious with this kid.
As to the level of entitlement, narcissism and misogyny seen among young males today: I see it all the time. I'm in my late 40s but help out occasionally at a bar owned by friends where young twenty-something's and hipsters congregate. The amount of foul talk and disrespect I hear from many of these young men towards women is disturbing. I've caught myself admonishing, correcting and even counseling them (one kid is currently facing a rape charge after picking up a drunk girl one night; he blames her).
It's not just because I'm old; I truly believe the internet and the proliferation of computer porn has desensitized an entire generation of young men toward women and sex. It's very sad.
How about the amount of foul talk from women? You haven't seen a change in women too? Only the men are the ones full of disrespect, anger, and no moral code?
People can speculate Aspergers might be an incorrect diagnosis but without the proper training and even ever seeing the kid, who's to say for certain. It's pointless to speculate on that. Too bad he had to hurt innocent people, he's changed and destroyed many lives forever.
There are also plenty of school shootings that were done by kids who's parents were not rich. The Virginia Tech shooter had some mental health problems, that seems more the key than how wealthy the parents happen to be. The Red Lake, MN shooter certainly didn't come from wealthy parents.
Past that, look how people do these days, if they lose a fight they go get a gun. That seems to be the norm. In Chicago a 14 year old girl shot another 14 year old female in the back after a fight over a boy.
Yep, he truly hated women. And I saw a clip from the family attorney, who said he was indeed a diagnosed Asperger's.
