Now, the corrupting of the congressional district to favor Republicans. That's is what the Dems should be doing something about.

Absolutely. Had the millennials turned out to vote - the results would have been quite different. Unfortunately, most young people only think there is an election every four years.

All we have to do is sit back and watch them implode. IF they actually manage to make anything better; they can't just govern in opposition to something or someone - they will actually have to come up with some ideas of their own.

Should be fun.

Only to have Obama start it up all over again. On the news tonight, Russian Bombers patrolling the east and west coast off both Florida and California. Something else we can hand down to our children.

Some of what you say is true.

The sad part? You are waiting for people who "only think there is an election every four years" to come along and save you. And you admit it!

Even sadder: They might do it! They might be awakened from their uninformed stupor by a community developer who gives them a ride to a voting place, and vote for whoever promises that they do not have to learn or do anything in order to get by in life.
And that person will be a Democrat.

Putin was a former mid level KGB apparachik that has dreams of restoring the old power and glory of the Soviet Union. He knows Obama is weak and is not afraid to test and challenge him. Reagan would have ordered those bombers harassed and chased out of our airspace, or perhaps even shot down.

I like Warren too. But I liked Obama and he really disappointed me. I am really turned off by politicians and don't know if I'll vote again.

The democrats were not expecting such a result of this election. This means if Hillary runs in 2016 she has to dig herself out of a huge hole. America rejected Obama plain and simple and Hillary was part of the administration
Barack Obama was elected twice, so he obviously wasnt rejected.

I have never understood why people like you feel the need to degrade people who have a different political ideology or party than yourself.

People like you are the reason this nation is so divided, all you do is attack people.

Since every Democrat ran away from him and every Republican campaigned against him, he's been rejected.

Obama is burned out. He has been stymied on all fronts by a recalcitrant congress.

He tried to do the right thing with Obamacare, which was essentially Medicare for everyone, but that got killed. He tried to do the right thing in Iraq, but that gave us Isis. Putin is a ********, even though former president Bush liked him.

This guy has a lot on his plate, and nothing left to lose. I would not be surprised if he dropped a nuke on Isis, and ordered some nasty **** on Russia.

It might suprise Mr. Ringo that there are a lot of us over here in the Libertrian / Objectivist camp who believe that government, especially at the Federal level, is seldom capable of making anything "better".

The proper role of the Federal government is to defend us from known enemies, domestic and foreign, to provide a court system (one based on strong adherence to precedent and strict construction), and to provide impartial standards for the conduct of commerce. THAT IS ALL!!!

There will. of course, be other needs, internal improvements like highways, police and fire protection, a corrections system based mostly on repair of damage at the expense of offenders -- even a social "safety net". But all of these can be limited to the local level, where the bureaucracy, which never met a "problem" it couldn't offer to "solve", can be kept in check.

And wherever possible, the necessary strucure, with the focus on education as the centerpiece, should be privatized and self-supporting. Those truly in need of such basic services can be provided with vouchers, to keep the real monopolists like the NEA and the other "public unions" in their place.

Terrifying to you "progressives". I know; but if you keep building on your fantasies while much of the world remains lean, mean and hungry, they might one day collapse under their own dead weight. It is not the discipline of the private sector which will implode.
