Malaise.

And the hostage screwup.. Took all of 20 minutes after he was out of office for the hostages to be released.

Which is totally not fair to say, but there it is. kinda just waiting to see who the first idiot who doesn't read that part is and replies back in detail about why they were released 20 minutes after Reagan was sworn in.

Worst voter turnout in over 70 years. Means Dems are not worried. Misleading headline.

No President accomplished so much in his first 100 days than Roosevelt!

The Democrats have it easy, just start a recession and they all kiss the Republicans good-bye, and kiss and hug the Democrats!

During the Great Depression, in solidly Republican Pittsburgh (Home of the Scotts-Irish Republican Party)and the state of Pennsylvania, they fell like dominoes, all swept out to Lake Erie!

This election, was a pyrrhic victory for the Republicans, given the super-low turnout, the highest turnouts will come 2016.

And what's to celebrate, with a President that can veto everything they propose!!!

The Republican Governor's, well that's a separate issue!

And there will always be Democrats wearing Republican clothes, Republicans wearing Democratic clothes. Teddy Roosevelt is a glaring example of that, a Republican that was anti-rich, anti-big business, with his anti-trust suits!

You are trying to give credit for the civil right act to the Republicans? Talk about trying to rewrite history. Next you will be claiming that it was a Republican who put a man on the moon.

So? If the RIGHT PEOPLE show up, the percentage is inconsequential.

Until you stop to consider why the people who normally vote democrat stayed home rather than go to the polls feeling obligated to vote against their party.

A good example is Maryland. The three jurisdictions that are staunch Democrats had the lowest turnout in the state. These three jurisdictions in the past have always dictated statewide elections over the rest of the state. In the last twenty years, whenever the Dems nominated a woman or a Black for governor they lost. I guess racism and misogyny is alive and well in the Democrat party, at least here in Maryland. It was after all, the democrats who nominated them to run. It's their own fault.

Why isn't this in the politics section? That's where it should be.
