Had they met right then and there, Zimmerman would have been cooked IMO.

The problem is that Martin, angry about some creepy dude following him went back to see what Zimmerman wanted after almost reaching his house.

This was the testimony presented to the jury regarding his phone conversation with the gf.

Martin went back, they met each other and a struggle broke out and then a shot. That's the grey stuff, we don't know how that went down.

While I wouldn't want Zimmerman patrolling my neighborhood with a wagon and a squirt gun.....it's clear that Martin went back and sought out Zimmerman and THAT is what created the reasonable doubt that sprung Zimmerman. (note I'm not saying Zimmerman was innocent)

Any disagreement with any of that?

P.S. To answer your last question...becasue Zimmerman was a freakin' loser ex-mall cop that felt like a man when he went on "patrol". And Martin didn't like being followed by some fat freaky cracker and was mad about it. What happened after that is a guess since we can't believe Zim and Martin wasn't alive. Since their only interaction was when Martin returned to confront Zimmerman, I'm confused how he ambushed Martin?

Lastly, people chose sides wayyyy too quickly in that case and then refused to listen to evidence. Zimmerman was alternatively a racist stalking blacks or a civic hero.....Trayvon was portrayed as a thug...and also as a 12year old sweet face boy. People can't handle grey, they just like black and white.

No disagreement from me. I think this is a fair assessment of things. However, this event would not have happened if Zimmerman had minded his own business like he was asked to do.

But humans have the capacity to NOT behave as animals. It's called respect for society and society's rules & laws. In our case it's called being a member of Western Civilization. Whether this includes "you and I" is determined by our actions and nothing else.

It was a response to someone who said humans were animals.

But you are correct, this topic is about George Zimmerman and I agree, such diversions are nothing but distractions from the fact that GZ was determined to be non-guilty hence innocent of the charges of murder brought against him.

Am I the only one who still wants to see a Celebrity Deathmatch episode of George Zimmerman vs DMX?

Humans are animals. Telling them to not behave as animals is redundant.

Only to someone who limits themselves to just one meaning for each word in the English language. The rest of us understand what it means.

Since this doesn't concern me, then perfect symmetry.

Zimmerman did the right thing. He took his gun, lit up the attacker, result = Dead Thug. Society better off.
Right, because a guy who unnecessarily started the entire altercation and got away with murder has been arrested multiple times since the trial ended for violent crimes.

Society is better off. The guy put a shotgun in the face of a woman.

How pathetic.
