Maybe none of his crimes warranted life behind bars or the death penalty...

It matters not one bit what he had in his system, there is no drug that can sever your spinal cord, lol.

Know what else could have prevented this? If the cops had done what the law requires of them and gotten the man medical help when he said he needed it rather than 45 minutes later.

I don't get why so many seem to hold cops to a lower standard than so-called "thugs"...it's okay for cops to break the law if it helps them take down people who are breaking the law..is that about it?
When that van picked up Freddie..he was a SHORT trip down the Street to the Police Station..But nope..That van took a zig baggy trip which took 45 minutes to complete with 5 stops in between....The driver knew Freddie was NOT secured in the back of his van and asked repeated for officers to secure him..Rather than leg shackles which got video taped at first stop..he was thrown into compartment onto his stop totally vulnerable during that 40 + minute van ride!

Map of that trip~~

###Blacklivesmatter

All lives matter.

And you do realize that 3 of the 6 officers are black? Including the one driving the van that Gray was bounced around in due to not being seat belted in as he should have been.

That person who was speaking in the shadows said some nonsense about heroin or FG was dealing drugs.

Gee, the charging document that I posted up thread, had nothing on it about drugs, only a switchblade which turned out to be a legal knife.

So, all this guy in the shadows is trying to do is muddy the waters and bring out the conspiracy theories that dirty the jury pool.

This case needs to be kept clean for any outside influences like this one who spoke.

I just need to correct your bolded screaming...He was 25 years old...He did not have 25 drug arrests....he had 18 arrests and only a handful of actual charges sticking...Be that as it may..listening to the likes of Rush Limbic and Faux News will only fill your head with Police Union Spin machine running about 100 miles an hour to exonerate their union paying officers~~

PHOTOS: Freddie Gray Arrest Record Documents | Heavy.com

snip~
Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old Baltimore man who died after being injured while in police custody, had a lengthy criminal record before his fatal run-in with police on April 12, 2015. He had previously been arrested at least 18 times and had been in and out of prison since 2008, court records show. According to the Washington Post, Gray was caught up in the drug trade, and many of the arrests were related to heroin or marijuana sales. Many of the arrests were what his attorney called "typical" for Baltimore, the Post reported, where police sweep in, arrest everybody and sort it out later.

IF anybody wants to question POLICE TACTIC..first clue~~Cover up by intimidating witnesses to change their story...i.e. >
Man who recorded video of Freddie Gray's arrest is arrested, detained by Baltimore police
Man who recorded video of Freddie Gray's arrest is arrested, detained by Baltimore police - Boing Boing

They did the same thing to the person who video taped Eric Garner's choking death by Police...SMH

For those who only believe Faux News..even they have already spoke about this topic..and 18 seems to be the decided on###

And plenty of law abiding citizens can be suspected of crimes they didn't commit. And that could very well be you one day. What if your car matches a description? Or your height/weight/hair color, etc?

It doesn't matter if you're law abiding at that point or not, because they will do anything they can to build a case against you including lying their blue butts off both to you and about you.

I thought the van GPS' has been reported and shows no excessive speeding or abrupt braking to indicate the passengers would have been jostled about. There is a lot still to this case. Folks riot for other reasons. There usually are long simmering issues which on incident, right or wrong, erupts.

We had loads of police shootings of blacks in Miami a few years ago but there were no disturbances. Even the FBI stepped in and two officers were fired.

These anonymous sources are usually just made up stories to fool the public. If it's true, let them stand up and make an official statement that can be verified one way or another!

Wait until trial, that's when the evidence that matters will come out. The stories spun by the S.A. are not the whole truth and nothing but the truth either..... I'd bet there's nuggets of truth to all the stuff coming out right now.
So there...

How could a convicted felon legally carry a knife? Maybe Maryland laws are different.
