A little word to the wise to any young punks that think this is a good idea: Some Senior citizens may not be as helpless as they seem. Some Seniors even carry legally concealed firearms. Forty to fifty vandals: That would be three high capacity clips in several handguns or five ten round clips in states that outlawed high capacity magazines (assuming no misses). In a crazy world sometimes being even crazier is necessary.
They're magazines, not clips.
I would be willing to bet a paycheck that if a few were shot, there others would scatter off in fear. The thing about predators is they don't mess with people who fight back, they want victims.
My .357 SIG makes a very distinct crack and at 1,350+ FPS, it generates more than enough force to stop a threat.
It's bizarre that no one shot one or more of them when they attacked a person. If I had been in that store when the criminals arrived I would have had my gun at the ready immediately.

A guy here tried that in a local Walmart when we attracted a bunch of weirdos because Mr. Bundy didn't want to pay his taxes. The nutters executed a couple of cops having lunch, and then they went to WalMart.
The CCW citizen pulled his legal weapon on the man, and was summarily executed by the female who walked right up behind him.
I'm a gun rights supporter, but don't go around thinking it makes you immortal.
Every single one of the dead in this clusterfvck was armed.
