I saw that shirt. I saw it, rolled my eyes & said "lame" & moved on.

It's not like this is the ONLY shirt that Target is offering. If someone doesn't like it, then they have the choice to not buy it. Maybe we should be more outraged by them selling shorts or bathing suits in sizes larger than, say, 12? Oooh, that'll strike a nerve!

I was just in Walmart yesterday (not Target) and saw a t-shirt with the slogan TROPHY HUSBAND on it. I really, really, really wanted to buy it from my husband, as over the years we have called each other "trophy wife" and "trophy husband" jokingly, usually when we look like death (hungover, post-partum, generally disheveled for whatever reason). They didn't have his size, but I'm looking for it online.

I am a liberal, feminist, maybe even a SJW...but come on. This is a joke, people. Nobody thinks they're a trophy just because they're wearing a $10.99 t-shirt from Target. Don't we have any real problems to worry about?

Being a SJW is all about finding offense where most reasonable people don't see any and getting people in trouble over it, if not destroying their lives. If they limited themselves to real problems they'd have hardly anything to do.

Well women are trophies for men and some can be juicy so I guess this falls under truth in advertising. There is a law.

PC Nazis, please stick to the Rebel Flag and leave Target T shirts alone por favor. Honestly, of all the t shirts I've seen, that's about the mildest one is the one they are complaining about...maybe they want target to up the ante and don't be so milquetoast.

Ah, I see. I took the phrase literally, and I do fight for social justice. Didn't realize it has a more loaded meaning as well. Like "politically correct" I guess.

When will women get their heads on straight (the ones complaining).

All this effort and legislation about "it's the woman's body". Too bad we can't let it be "it's the woman's brain" and let her decide if she wants to buy or not buy, wear or not wear a t-shirt that says "Trophy" on it.

Stay home, keep your invaluable self to yourself.

If you're a trophy you really think no one else knows it?
