The precentage of Americans who will use a gun to kill someone illegally.
Why?
Because the percentage is so small and it isn't some dramatic whining that can be wrapped up in untrue tear jerking statements that they hope become pseudo facts to the uninformed.
So Hollywood isn't part of the USA?? lol and Hollywood isn't the only one glamourising guns, just look at some of the pics on the net with people posing all macho after shooting innocent animals then posing with a gurning face,
I'd hardly compare someone having a car accident a comparison to someone being shot by someone with a gun. The chances of surviving a car accident compared to being shot with a gun are also a poor example as is the domestic violence one. Chances of surviving being punched with a fist from a violent partner or shot with a gun, know which has more chance of survival. Yes violence does exist everywhere I know as people experience it all over the world, doesn't mean they mean they increase their arms! Only the US feels this need. Why do liberals cause mental health issues prey tell me?? would love some facts to back it up from you. As for infringement on tax issue, really!
They have gun clubs and shooting guns as an organized sport. Don't dance around what you said. You said "most" would be "horrified" to see a gun. Now you want to qualify your statement and create a specific condition to suit your argument.
It doesn't work that way.
At least go and find out before using others to further your baseless interpretation of what you want to believe. This is how so many untrue things get passed off as true. It is wrong to do.
One more thing, only some kids grow up to use firearms to do bad thing.
Only some, not most, not even close to being most. You know that to be true too but try to hide that behind qualifiers.
yes most, its not an every day occurence. I know I work in education with real children not just plucking stats.

The reason Obama says gun safety is the biggest unfinished business is because he has no real interest in gun safety, he'd just as soon ban guns.
The American people aren't interested in what he wants on the matter, THAT is why he got nowhere on the matter. If he had the support of the American people, he'd have done what he wanted to get done.
People got hoodwinked by Obamacare and learned a good lesson, just a little too late.
You don't get to decide the intent of the writers of the Constitution.
If you truly believe that no infringement of weapon type or who may hold one is what the second amendment is calling for does that mean that Rusty Houser should not only have been able to legally obtain his pistol in Alabama but was wronged when Georgia denied him a permit due to being charged with arson and having been involuntarily sent to a mental institution?
That is reserved for progressive liberals who want to call the shots, correct?
Let them do so and you will be crying about your freedom to do anything. Speech, travel and property will be at their discretion. Let progressives achieve their end game - total control - and see what happens. What happened to the guns?
No one shall be infringed. The creation of sending people to mental institutions is relatively new if held to when the document was written. Liberals have made up all sorts of laws to appease their want for sense of security, no matter how false it may be.
In 40 years of law enforcement, I must have seen every method possible in taking a life, whether it be homicide or suicide. In fact, I responded to two incidents where, in both cases, 25 people were murdered and not a single shot fired. If you want to take a human life, there are numerous ways of doing so. Cain slew Abel and I don't believe he used an AK-47 to do it.
I saw a movie where only the military and police had firearms. It was called Schindler's List.

If you work in education then you should know better than to say what you're saying. The thought that you are imparting such warped views on children is far more damaging and scary than whatever is it you fear.
If you say "most" then you need some stat to back that up or it means nothing. But that is how you play the game. You go to some kid who looks up to you, trusts you and you tell them most kids would be horrified to see a gun and because you "work" in education they believe you.
Talk about child abuse. It is abuse of trust, abuse of authority and the list goes on and on. Shameful at the least.
Real kids? Are there fake kids or do you mean kids who might learn how to use firearms, get into the firearms sport and so on. Those would be the fake kids?
If America didn't do anything after a bunch of first graders were murdered by gunfire, they aren't going to do ****. Ever. Might as well accept the fact that mass shootings are now as common as muggings and assaults in this country. They've been happening with ever increasing frequency. Our government is controlled by idiots with money so it will not change.
Seriously, read about the injuries some of those little kids endured and look at the response our country had afterwards. People care more about their guns than they do their fellow Americans. SICK.

If mass shootings were as common as muggings and assaults we would be in a state of war.
