SSI, which is supplemental security income is the federal welfare system. These folks never payed into it and receive a stipend. The state of California adds to their income by $600. This is why most come to California.
Again, I never said anything about biblical stories being fact; just that Jesus as a person was recognized by leaders who were alive during his life.
