Since you think Mr. O'Rielley has done something noteworthy, then start a topic.
Brian Williams had a similar case to Bill, the difference is Brian was on a bigger scale. He lied, was found out and now replaced by Lester Holt who did a great job filling in for Brian even before the debacle. Brian was moved over to MSNBC which in a way is an upgrade but is also a downgrade due to how important the channel is to most viewers (very small.)

The difference is that Brian admitted lying and lost his job, unlike Bill.

The difference is Bill is commentary, but Brian was (supposed to be) news.

MSNBC isn't even really a channel. It's more like Sesame Street for Progressive 'adults'.

The difference is being Brian was telling a story of his own personal account, while O'Reilly lies and calls his lies news.

Not that his viewers could discern the difference, of course.

After being caught by others. Furthermore...... he didn't lose his job. NBC is still paying him a fantastically large salary and he is still employed.

I find it fascinating that you take every attempt to defend this even when you can only do it with fallacious comparisons to a TV commentator on another network. The funny thing about that, you apparently hold this commentator as well as his network in complete contempt, yet you think Williams is OK for doing exactly the same thing.

Of course people often trip over their own shoe laces when they attempt to tie the knots so tight.

About par for the course for MSNBC. No surprise there. Guess I will miss this event, I never watch MSNBC.

So, where do you get your news from, WaldoK? Network News? AM Radio? Just curious.

I dumped NBC/MSNBC as a legitimate news source long before this scandle arose. It's pretty clear that they are completely agenda motivated and lie when it suits them.
