Our kids are being raised NOT to respect authority figures. We need to stop baby'ing this type of behavior. First it's teachers, then it's cops. Think about it.

good post and agreed.
There needs to be real consequences for this type of behavior to show it won't be tolerated.
It's time to call a spade a spade. Some of these kids have gotten away with far too much for far too long. They need to be punished or removed from society and put in special places that deal with the mentally ill. Stop justifying this kind of behavior. Stop coddling criminals!
When things like this are happening mostly in schools and colleges being ran by Liberals, kind of hard to blame others not involved. Liberals are doing nothing to stop the violence, most students are given excuses, nothing about responsibility for ones actions. People are being given a victim card.
School officials commended the injured officers for their restraint. In other words, thanks for not shooting our little monsters in defense of your own life because black lives matter more than cops.
My last year teaching first grade in an inner city school, I was pregnant. A six year old student punched my pregnant belly as hard as she could and told me she hoped my baby died.

You couldn't pay me enough to teach there again.
In light of the tragedy in Paris, I honestly think our governments and leaders have no idea what they are doing, and we need to start standing up for our rights. What happened to you and this other teacher is utterly disgusting and is evidence of our failing education and justice systems. Children who do these kinds of things and who apparently think it is OK to do these kinds of things need to be dealt with severely. When I was going to elementary school, I probably would have been thrown into self-contained special education, expelled from school, or both for even mentioning, let alone attempting, anything like that with my teacher!

In my time the teacher would have backhanded the kid to the floor, dragged to the principal's office for a paddling, parents called, and a beating by the parents. You dish out this kind of punishment in the early years, you don't see them repeat the same mistake again.

Gee, I wonder where that kid learned to punch and hit?
