What a sick, horrible person. Six years is nowhere near enough- his masochistic intent is captured on film, that poor man! I don't think this kind of evil can be fixed with age or otherwise I don't even feel bad saying, I hope he gets some "special" attention in prison..
It isn't enough. And it seems like the 79 year old man was doing pretty good, he was out working in his yard. When an elderly person is in a car accident, or takes a fall, or in this case attacked it can do a lot of damage. They can quickly go from vibrant to being decrepit due to one incident.
Disgusting, interesting this POS didn't choose a victim in his own age range.
Sounds like the straight white males on this forum should create a group or place where they can cry on each other's shoulders about how unfair things are in life and how evil every other group is.

Really weird of you to mention "straight white males" because gay males are assaulted by black males by a really disgusting amount. They have a rate of attacks on gay men about 6x higher than committed by whites.
Absolutely disgusting. Anyone who commits this type of crime between any race should be considered a hate crime. In all honesty it isn't fair that he was sentenced to 71 months while all over YouTube you can find videos of black teenagers knocking out white people and yet it isn't considered a hate crime. We have got to stop this double standard in our country if we are truly equal!!

That's one of the reasons I am lukewarm to hate crime laws. Violence is violence. Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter.
Roughly in line with violent crime rates when you adjust for population size.

First off the white population also has Hispanics counted in it. I will also add how many times could a black person be charged with a hate crime and the DA WONT charge that crime? Happens more than not. You know it. I know it. Everyone else knows it. However most wont say it!!! I 100% stand by everything I said!!
