Everything offends somebody nowadays.....One can't hiccup, fart, sneeze, or whatever without someone getting their panties all in a wad. It's a COMMERCIAL! Get over yourselves. Go drink a Coke or Pepsi or water or milk or vodka or whatever floats your boat.
We've come a long way from the 1960s. "I'd like to teach the world to sing, In perfect harmony, I'd like to buy the world a Coke, And keep it company." Welcome to the New Victorian Age. Some of us want to dictate how people should dress, some of us want to prevent citizens from voting, some of us want to ban certain people from marrying and/or raising children, some of us want to place legal restrictions on everyone we don't like, etc., etc. Feel free to "express" your outrage in words. That's what free speech is about. Just don't expect to turn it into restrictive laws.
I cannot agree more with your statement. On the other hand, I'm glad indigenous are learning to play the black/Jew I'm a victim card, since in both cases the media has taken a clue about them and their issues have become mainstream, not just minor issues that no one care to hear.
All and all, kudos to those activists
The majority of black people in the US don't play the race/victim card and I've worked and interacted with quite a few over the year and I've never encountered a Jewish person that played the victim card. The media likes to exaggerate these types of issues to boost ratings.
The ad was wholesome and in the end they had a beautiful tree. What's the problem?
