Yup. My dad also wouldn't have rested until justice was served. Or actually, he'd rest while justice was served. We didn't have corporal punishment, but there was a friend with about an acre and a half of lawn and a rusty push mower. I expect I'd have spent some quality time getting acquainted with said push mower while dad did some resting and assuring justice was served.
