I think anyone who is that attached to their politics or religion or cult that they can't tolerate a differing opinion probably is brainwashed.
The question would be are they more susceptible than others? Do they lack the ability to see the other side? If someone cuts you off for your views it says more about them than it does about you, as long as your views aren't totally off the wall. I guess if a friend was a serial killer I'd want to cut them off. But for supporting a different political party, no way. I was cut off by a couple of people for my criticism of the right wing, but I guess they weren't really friends.

Like the all or nothing tenet of Scientology, if you don't agree with certain people who hold political beliefs that differ from yours, they treat you like crap, name call and cut you off, period. You are dead to them and a horrible, stupid person. Look at all the FB fights and defriending over politics!! The show was very eye opening from a political perspective. Politics is brainwashing, too.
