B/C the sugar lobby lobbied for it, so they can sell more Halloween candy.
This needs to be eliminated entirely, as daylight savings is a waste of time.
The Feds leave it to the states, but the states cannot do it as it would play havoc with interstate commerce.

If you're a farmer, you are not being represented anymore.
They hate it, and fought DST for years.

In the real world ag states are over-represenetd in Congress and ag lobbies are among the most powerful. Actual farmers can of course come and go with the sun regardless of what time it is.

*According to our mathmatical calculations, it does NOT save any electricity or money.

* According to our calculations, it costs more in missed work time, traffic accidents, lower morale and decreased productivity.

Which is just another reason I love Arizona.

I like DST. It's standard time I don't like. Early sunsets are terrible.

Standard time breeds seasonal affective disorder. Who wants that?

There are some long winded writers on here who may be the types that would do that.

Just got all the materials I need to build a cocoon, I'm mixing the wood pulp and silicone caulking now as I type this. Where would be a good place to construct my cocoon where nobody will disturb it? I like the tiny home concept and, as always, I want to escape standard time this winter. Just wondering what cemeteries usually charge per month for a mausoleum? I don't want a plain old storage locker from budget rental like I got last year, I want peace and quiet, marble floors, a place where I can let my mummy bandages down and feel right at home, as I play my favorite tunes like beautiful dreamer, time stand still, and dog & butterfly by heart. When I come out of there this spring, I want to feel like a new man.

Get up earlier, move up your whole day, and you won't have any SADD. Besides, it's only the period from November to January you have to worry about.

Has a trivial (basically no impact( impact to my life, but I prefer they just keep it on DST; the later it gets dark, the better.

My only clocks are my cell phones and computers, they update automatically.
