I closed mine a few months ago and don't regret it! All I have is Instagram and Snapchat and I hardly use those.

No, but I have become compulsive about deleting suggested ads on FB. It doesn't help.

Gone from Fakebook nearly a year ago now. I'm a tiny fish on Twitter under a "handle" rather than my name. Works for me.

It's fascinating to me that some people brag about "never being on Facebook," like it's some stellar accomplishment. Most likely it is being un-tech savvy - probably can't load a photo, for instance - not to mention being super paranoid.

Or maybe they don't care to get caught up in something they don't care about. Technical ability has little to do with it. Paranoia, either. Some people just don't care about social media at all.

Yes, this is true in my case; I am a computer nerd, own four machines (#LinuxRules!) and have NEVER had a Facebook nor any social media account whatsoever.

One needn't be techy to use social media, what a silly assumption "nobodysbusiness" made in that post.

My reason for not using it has all to do with being an introverted weirdo and nil to do with anything else.

lol - once again we see someone using social media (C-D) to tell us they are way too cool to use social media

(yes, yes, I know, you don't think C-D is social media, but it most certainly is...)

You really love that line, don't you? I like to think of smoke signals as being social media, too. I'd bet a didgeridoo could be called social media as well.

As long as people keep using CD to tell us they're too cool for social media, yes, I'll keep on using it.

Thanks for your support.
