Interesting, I never knew they didn't serve alcohol at all before.

For the first time in the park's history, alcohol will be available to all adult guests at Disneyland.

Those looking for libations should head straight to Oga's Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland when the venue opens in 2019.

That's just called keeping up with market demands.

Unlike Jerry Seinfeld's assertion, there is now something that IS fun for the whole family!! Disneyland with booze.

Could be an interesting place to visit for a beer if they have people hanging out that look like the original star wars characters.

I think Disneyland had a members only private bar called Club 33 for years.

It's still there, along with at a few of their other parks. But that has never been open to the general public, so this will be the first time anyone and everyone (21 and over) can drink at Disneyland.

While I think that could be a really fun place to visit, I kind of like there being no alcohol around.

For what they charge for a small cheeseburger, I doubt anyone is going to pony up the cash to get drunk there.

When Busch Gardens owned their Sea World amusement park, they gave away free beer. But I never saw anybody loaded. I think it’s because you just paid a hundred bucks to get your family in, walked a dang half a mile from the parking lot, etc. People who do that just aren’t looking for the same experience as drunk twenty somethings on the Vegas strip.

It's as if no Disney executives have ever been to the French Quarter to observe the sloppy falling-down drunk tourists there on vacation.

I await the inevitable selfies. They're not going to be pretty. Nor will the press be kind once inebriated social-media princesses decide they're going to strip down to the buff and swim to Tom Sawyer's Island, getting run over by the Mark Twain riverboat. We already have people getting killed by their own stupidity in the National Parks. Disneyland has at least a hundred different ways to punish the judgment-impaired. If I had kids, I would keep them well away from the place once the cantina opens.
