An orthopedic surgeon who has appeared on a reality-TV dating show and his purported girlfriend have been accused of drugging and raping at least two women, and prosecutors fear there may be “many” more victims.
The pair allegedly used their “good looks and charm” to disarm the victims, Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said.
Saw this yesterday. These two need be put away for a long time. I read they speculated there could be many hundreds or up to one thousand victims. That seems like an unbelievable number to me. I also wouldn't be at all surprised if Dr. Robicheaux has a history of this criminal behavior.

I'm struggling with the concept that there are "thousands" of women victims.
This neighborhood seems alert and watchful - it's hard to think you could get very many women in there who you basically have to carry in without someone noticing.
Also, although some women will choose not to report and just soldier on after an episode like that, when you start victimizing more and more women you will get lots who WILL report.
Unless an avalanche of women come forward and say they were victims but chose for whatever reason not to report, that number seems too much.
We posters on CD are not "a legal process", nor have we been sworn in to be a "legal process".
We are everyday, common humans discussing and sharing opinions based on the information we've received through the news media.
What we're doing is actually quite normal and expected of the human race.
What you're doing... is not.
In the U.S. being guilty of a crime is a matter of law, until that happens you are dealing in allegations and accusations, and they should be called that.
Fortunately, at least up until now, gossip, speculation and even hysteria does not change that. A statement that someone is guilty of criminal action before they have admitted they are or been convicted is pure bullsh*t no matter where your info comes from.
Carry on Java, I just won't stand downwind from you.
These two are predators.
Evidence IS part of the legal process.
