Americans are the only ones we can mock without being verbally and physically attacked.
True. But not every low class working type from anywhere in the world gets to go to Aruba for vacation. America and the West in general is home to a peculiar type of working class ruffian, characterized by middle class affluence coupled with peasant-class sensibilities. I like to call them the affluent underclass. People who enjoy a better standard of living and lifestyle than they would normally due to their skills and intellectual development, based on the fact they were LUCKY enough to be born in America or Europe. No matter what color or ethnicity they represent.

You just described the typical Chinese tourist to a T? - God bless them - they are like the Beverly Hillbillies of Earth, 20 years ago they were riding bicycles and living in tin shacks. Now it's all high rises and driving the latest Toyota, but they are still getting used to the concept of defecating in a public restroom.

Indeed. Usually the ones behaving worse are those the middle aged ones, they are on vacation because their children have jobs making real money so they get to tag along.
A drunken fight on NY Eve? How often does THAT happen around the world?
This is exactly what I was thinking, why is this even news? "Next up on CBS 3, man gets drunk and misbehaves at St. Patrick's Day parade", "Girl gets drunk and pulls up her top at Mardi Gras".
I was in the Caribbean last year and there was a large Canadian wedding party at our resort that got obnoxiously drunk every day at the pool, every one of them being loud and belligerent. They had a wild weeklong celebration, the party never ended and I think we were all over it by day 3 - except for them, of course. Luckily we spent most of our time at the beach, where we couldn't really hear them. There was also an Irish wedding party one night with some members getting so drunk after the wedding that they were falling on the floor and thoroughly embarrassing themselves, including storming the stage during the nighttime resort performance (dancers) and trying to goofily dance along with the professionals. Resort staff had to come escort them off the stage and the dancers were pissed. I and many others had secondhand embarrassment watching them, it was horrible.
Point is - those of all nationalities make utter fools of themselves sometimes, especially on vacation when alcohol is involved.
You get some interesting Aussies in Bali. It's like their version of the Caribbean since relatively close (well at least compared to almost everywhere else from Australia) so you get some pretty entertaining packs of bogans wandering about raising hell. Usually pretty friendly sorts though.
