What a sicko. He did this to get back at the mother for what ever reason. So sad for the child & surviving mother.

I know. Incredible force, the anger of being rejected by a lover.

So much, that his vengeance is more powerful than his love for his daughter (and I'm sure he did love his daughter) and is more powerful than his own will to live.

It seems killing the mother herself wouldn't be good enough - then she wouldn't suffer.

The most grotesque example of selfishness. When I hear of things like this, it makes me want to believe in a literal hell with endless suffering for the guilty.
