And isn't he even from Greece, or something? Does he even have family in the US? (other than the in-laws, of course)

He is from Greece and I read his family is coming to say goodbye to him because I think he is on life support now.

And see how much they can scavenge? Maybe that sounds unfair but the Dulos estate should be held in trust for the children.

Fotis Dulos?

That sounds like something you get vaccinated against before travelling to Cameroon...

The kids do have trust funds. He has a bunch of debt. If he's dying, family can say goodbye, even if he is a cold blooded killer.

I know they have a wealthy grandmother.

But Dulos owns a number of lots. He put them up for the $6 million bond that was set. If there are any assets, they should go to the kids. Not his birth family. Especially since he treated his children badly.

Whatever will he had in effect before hand is still going to apply.

He didn't have the money. He put up some properties which the bondsman discovered 2 of were in foreclosure. And a woman he called his best friend put up almost $150K with a note to pay more over the next few years.

He passed away today. I feel sorry for his children who lost a mother who loved them. The good thing about his passing it saves us from a trial and supporting him in prison for the rest if his life. I have no pity for him.
