Yes, it's a cemetery thing in our case, and definitely a ripoff. It's not something I would choose for myself, but as I said, this was my mother, the plots had been purchased 67 years before, my father and my brother were already in two of them, we were in the depths of COVID in NJ, and it was not going the time to say, "let's save a coup-two-three bucks and cremate Mom instead." Two of my siblings and all but one of her grandchildren couldn't even attend my mother's funeral.
ETA: Ugh, just realized what thread this was and how this is veering from the topic. My bad.
An apartment building in Florida collapsed around midnight. Rescue operations in progress. Some already rescued alive. More information coming after sunrise.
So it sounds either they aren't or you don't know.
Thanks!
Why on earth would you even think that I would know? Or that I would care? Or that I am going to go research something that only you seem to be interested in? There are endless flavors of crematoriums and funeral homes both - these days they can even offer similar services. Do you seriously NOT know how to use google, or a telephone??

You really ask the oddest questions.
You may find it an "odd" question but, again, it's a very straightforward one requiring a simple "yes" or "no" answer unless you don't know (another simple answer) or, for whatever reason, don't wish to answer.
As I said, I was just curious!
