Lunch w/ girlfriend : Ice Tea, half a sandwhich and soup. OK, I have to admit, the sandwhich was a rueben, but the soup was decent/broth based.
Supper: cup of black bean soup and Green Ice Tea
The dreaded party: small plate of fattening appetizers and 2 tiny glasses of red wine...hey at least it wasn't the margarita I was (looking forward to)dreading.
Tomorrow I work, so I shouldn't have the temptations.
Man you guys are tough!

yes Jeannie. I'm an RN. I work critical care. Cardiac specifically. I am supposed to be on my way to work now, but have been up all night. GRRR! Been doing the insomnia thing for about a year. I don't want to take drugs. I have 3 teenage boys in the house. They don't need to see there mom walking around house naked, eating Fritos, doing the Ambien waltz. Benadryl usually works, but I need to take it early. When I wake up at midnight I can't take anything because I need to be up at and it in 5 hours. Nuff whining. I just joined....better not wear out my welcome.
