Hi Jeannie!
My most creative gifts are 3 picture books I've ordered online. I found the software last year and you can do those great books with hard cover or flex cover or cloth cover and then you can design the pages with your photos. It's just great but a lot of work. I made one for my in-laws (the first 6 months of our son), one for my sister-in-law (a very small one with pictures from DS and ourselves) and one for us from the vacation we took in October). It's not very cheap (about 40 $ per book) and lots of work but it's worth it. I like real pictures better than seeing them on the PC so I print them anyway.

Breakfast: sip of chocolate milk and a cookie
Snack: cookies...
Lunch: pork in red wine sauce and potatoes
Dinner: will be Greek

Creative gift?? You are talking to the person who writes checks and puts them in a Christmas card. I haven't had a complaint yet. Last year they just kept saying, "You are retired now, when are you going to stop this." I usually buy one small present so the children will have something that is just from Grandma and Pepaw. Yesterday I bought all but two of the presents. I found Isotoner boots for the girls and one piece sleepers for the baby. I bought the baby that is not here yet a beach cover up, yellow of course, since we don't know the sex yet. They don't know it yet, but I am planning a beach vacation for all of us. I may or may not get this accomplished. That will be a "just because" gift. Just because I want to see everybody for a week and babysit the children while their parents play. That's what Grandparents like!

Coffee and milk (1)

I had wonderful garlic bread with hot cheese topping as antipasto and afterwards ground meat filled with feta cheese served with white giant beans. It was delicious but way too much so I could take half of it home.
