Izzy, thanks for missing me. Happy Birthday to your mother. Give her a hug from me.
It is really fun to come on late and see all that has happened in one day.
Diana, I think allergies is why I drink so much coffee. It seems to help. I just now had my first coffee because I am trying to cut down.
Judi just keep encouraging us and keeping with it. You really have good motivation.
We had an apointment for a project manager to come and look at the bathrooms and help us yesterday. She called and rescheduled for 9 A. M. this morning and was right on the dot. I have dial-up so I could not get on the telephone until she came. She went right to work and finished in a little over 1/2 hour. What is a major problem for us seems to be a piece of cake for her. She was really a pro. Now it is a matter of getting it done and paying for it. We should have done this years ago. Even with help, I still don't like to do things like this. If we didn't like our neighbors so much, we could just buy another new house. I would miss my big trees too. I guess moving would be more work than redoing the bathrooms.
Then it was time to go to water exercises and we went to the library after that. Then home and lunch and I fell asleep on the sofa. Just woke up and had supper. We are just hanging out now and I will probably iron some clothes while we watch TV. Everybody around us is getting rain, but it is still going above us and below us.
Autumngal, I was thinking of Fall this morning too. It did have a Fall feel. Maybe it is the apples falling off the trees in the back yard and the squirrels scampering around. Just beautiful and Jeannie will be seeing that soon too, we hope, we hope, we hope!
Breakfast: vanilla yogurt and banana and bottled water
Dinner: 6 slices ham (4 oz.), 2 biscuits with tomato slices in them. If I had been talking to Southerners only, I would have said 2 tomato biscuits. LOL Bottled water and a nectarine
Supper: Mr. VA had given up on me waking up and had a bowl of cereal so I don't have to cook tonight. 1 small can of beanee weenee--I have been spelling that wrong. 1 cup baby carrot sticks, 1/2 English cucumber, coffee and milk and I may have a fruit later.
Good night Diana, Steve, Jeannie, Judi, Autumngal and Izzy. Tomorrow is Saturday!
Thanks Autumngal, jeannie,Lacey! I am happy that she is still so energetic,we want to make sure she is happy! Thank God!

Coffee to start.. going to my office meeting, I am sure there is fruit and stuff
I will come back to tell you guys.
have a good Friday!
There was an article in our local newspaper today about a man who is 100 years old and still drives! I think I have seen this man, but had no idea he was so old. Union County has a lot of the Scotch-Irish people who live to be really old. We have a lot of very productive older people.
Apples, lol. After our apple farm I am not sure I could look at another apple tree so soon. Talk about apples by the truckload. hee hee
But ours were ready right at the end of Sept. So it was fun going out and apple picking that time of the year. Tho my dog Zeb would help. Pick the lower ones right off the tree.
Ya know, I have been noticing it more and more that we just do not have many people on the roads here lately. And the store parking lots can be found very empty during the day.
The last time I drove to see my children, we almost had the roads to ourselves. There are a couple of places that I dread merging, etc. that were just no problem at all. I believe you are right that our interstates at least have less traffic. I think we are all just mad at the oil companies and determined to win this battle. I think those oil companies will regret they made us mad. Americans have a lot of spirit!
