Good morning! Feels great to be able to start today's thread. Been way too long. Approaching a long holiday weekend and looks like we may be here until Sunday. Our in-laws want us here with the kids as long as possible. Going to miss them. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......have a fabulous Thursday! Jeannie

Good morning all...

Oh... and remind me to stay out of the politics/controversies forum! Man can I get worked up in there!!!

PS... Diana... in the food and drink forums.. you didn't say it was a "wee" bit of whipped cream! *cough cough* haha

rofl, Steve, did you really have to spoil this
It was really "only" a table spoon of whipped cream which is a wee bit ***still smiling***

Half a slice of w/w bread with salami/cheese/leave of iceberg salad
cup of milk with some cinnamon cereal
Bowl of veggie soup (my mom does a nearly fat free version)
the other half of the bread slice with same topping
vanilla sundae

Boy, I have those cravings lately, one day I'll just explode

Need to go to the doctor with DS today to get one of the many injections kids need.

Tonight's meeting with the former toddler group was cancelled b/c nearly all of them have something more important to do that's why my soup will move into the freezer till we have another try next week.

At least that lets me do something at home and watch the food network with my mom tonight

Jeannie, enjoy the time you still have your family around. You'll probably miss them a lot at the beginning. I wish I could have such a great time with my in-laws. No contact to them over here...

NCN, where are you? Hope you didn't go under with all the rain.

Fall arrived, finally. It's grey outside. Temps are still mild enough for T-shirt but the evenings and nights brrrr...

Good morning, Autumngal, BB, Diana, Izzy, Jeannie, Judi and Steve.
Steve you have to be in the right mood to tackle the political forum.
After one day of successful dieting, I have to control myself not to weigh.
I woke up to something that sounded like a basketball being bounced on the patio. Mr. VA was digging up a tree root right behind our bedroom. He always finds the most unusual ways to wake me. He told me today that he realizes that I am a natural second shift worker. I naturally sleep between 2 and 10.

Coffee and milk
peach yogurt
banana

Afternoon all-lunch was so very good. Went with a friend and had turkey noodle soup-best I've ever tasted, wild rice salad and chicken salad w/grapes.
