Hi there,

I am needing a recommendation for Catholic Churches in the Grand Prairie area. We will be living by Joe Pool Lake. I have an 11 year old and a 14 year old so a strong youth program is important to me. (I know about St. Ann's youth program but that is too far from where we will be living, I think). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Also, do any of the Catholic Churches in this area have an ENDOW program (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women)? I have been active in one in the city I was in before I am moving to Texas and would like to get in with one here.

Thanks!

Honestly, I think you only have a few choices there and I know nothing about them.

You are only renting for now, right? If so, really spend a year looking around and see if there is another area that will fit your desire for school/commute/parish better. I'm not sure you are going to be thrilled with the setup you've chosen.

If you can't find a parish that feels like home in GP there are probably churches in Arlington that wouldn't be too far to drive. Not sure with the school run you would want to add another commute though. Most Blessed Sacrament on N Davis has an active Youth group and the location is right off 30. I don't know anything about the parishes in GP, sorry.
