I saw this report on the DMN. What is really misleading is the figure for the number of home sales. What if there were no more homes for sale??? It really does not take that into consideration. If the people don't want to move and they don't have their home up for sale how can that REALLY negatively affect the market? I'd actually say that HELPS the market as people LIKE and ENJOY where they live and don't want to move. Then of course you have the people that don't care if they move or not and if they see a home or two in the area that sold quick for a great price they stick a for sale sign out in the yard just to see. We had one of those in our area last year.

I wonder if that 99% jump in Oak Lawn is related to those condos at Cedar Springs and Oak Lawn that were auctioned off.

East Dallas and the Fair Park area (Area 12) have passed up Plano in median home prices.
