The friendships made by your kids will be priceless if you stay in HP. Stay with the traditional house - not weird contemporary crap - cause that's what HP people want. It's traditional, solid values, old money. That where the money is and always will be.

So you were already in Escrow when you started this Thread? Aren't the public schools suppose to be decent in the Park Cities?

They are. And it's a huge selling point. Still my wife and I were prep school types and it's always a possibility if for whatever reason we ever need to move our daughter out.

Fabulous! Glad both you & Mami found houses in the district. You won't regret it. My kindergarten teacher is still teaching at Hyer (25+ years & counting). The principal there is fabulous and has incredibly high standards for hiring teachers- know several friends in Plano ISD & Richardson ISD who have interviewed with him 2 & 3 times and still aren't deemed "Hyer quality"...his strong point is that each time he gives them a very specific list of things to improve on (integrate more technology into lesson planning, complete masters, etc) to become Hyer quality.
