personal choice. no problem with that. but it is exactly that, an instrument. no soul, no intentions. it depends on the user. anybodies distaste with guns should not dictate if other people should be able to own them.

with more honest hard woking people being familiar with them, they are about as dangerous as a spork in those hands. if you also look at the cities with the most restrictive gun laws, they tend to have more crime then places with less gun laws (Stats according to the FBI)

just becasue more citizens carry/have guns here (texas), it isnt required, and you probably will never see one out here unless you are particiapting in an activity that uses them. as long as your husband is responsible all it is, is a hunk of metal.

guns alone shouldnt make you uncomfortable, they have never harmed anybody by themsleves.

but enough of my diatribe. like i said unless you are involved with something that uses guns or your husband does get one, you probably will never see one (not including cops).
