Thanks for all your input. folks. We had a good time while in Dallas. Sixth Floor was very interesting, although a bit depressing. Enjoyed the aquarium (DWA) very much, especially son, who took pix of, I'm not kidding, almost EVERY little exhibit. So we were there for almost 3 hours when 1.5 woulda been plenty.
Left car parked at hotel and walked or took DART for our outings. Breakfast at Corner Bakery in West End. Went to Deep Ellum. Angry Dog was great. LOVED the Deep Ellum Rye Pilsner! Next day wanted to eat at Il Cane Rosso (sp?) but arrived at 3:00 (they're closed from 3-5 ea day...sheesh) so ended up eating a gigantic pizza at Serious Pizza. 'Twas quite good, too. Tried some other local beers, but none beat Deep Ellum Rye Pilsner.
OH! and the reason for our trip...Rammstein concert...UNBELIEVABLE! What a show! All in all a great trip. Memories created.
