I changed my address online and received my new license by mail. I think it was $12.00 and it sure saved me a lot of time!

Yeah, I've done the online renewal for the past 12 years, but they finally made me come in for a new photo this year. Believe me, if there was any possible way I could've avoided a trip to the DMV, I would've!

I definitely second the one in Plano. I actually just came from there . Took about 30 minutes to renew an ID Card. Can't say if it's different on other days or with doing a DL but I recommend it based on my experience.

We went at 3:30 in the afternoon. They close at 5.

Keep in mind that mid month is usually a better time to go...as well as mid week.

Well I went to the Plano office this morning and it sucked, but hopefully I won't have to do this again until my DL is sharing space in my wallet with an AARP card.

Don't you have to goto the DMV that is in your county? For example, if you live in Dallas you have to goto one of the DMV's in Dallas, not Plano. Can anyone recommend which DMV sucks the least in Dallas, or do they all suck equally?
