I am looking for a town within 45 minutes of Dallas that is safe, clean, and has that small town feel. Ideally around 25-30k population.
Does this sound like an area you know of?

Thanks!

Prosper won't stay that small for very long since there is a lot of development going on there.

The only way Greenville and Commerce are less than 45 minutes from Dallas is in the middle of the night going 80 mph.

Yep. We go through Prosper at least every other weekend and it is growing like crazy. Just about all the land along 289 (old farms) are for sale. Crazy!

I would highly recommend Sachse, TX it's boarderline of garland which has everything you need. Firewheel mall is just across as well.

This was were I grew up and it's expanded quiet a bit but non the less I believe population is still less than 30k? I'm not too sure.

Prosper's estimated build out population is 67,000. That will not happen for a while, but it will happen sooner than later.Currently the population is nearing 14,000. We live in Prosper, love the Town and everything it has to offer. If your budget is $250,000 plus it is a great option if it fits your wants and needs...

I live in Prosper. Like everybody said it wont be small for long. Great schools, great people and supposedly the town doesn't want to grow past 70,000. There is a small town just outside of Prosper that is smaller and it is only 7 more mile up the tollway, Celina.
