whiz-q stone in Arlington is one of the biggest suppliers in DFW - I've gotten a literal ton of black river rocks from them. Pricing was less than half of anywhere else I could find. It looks like the boulders you are talking about are 7-10 cents per pound:

How were you able to maneuver the rock where you needed it? Just a lot of people and grunt work? I've picked up some smaller rocks and those darn things are much heavier than I was expecting.

You would need many people! I watched 6 guys maneuver a diving rock we put on our pool-they dumped it off the truck after reversing entirely into our backyard then made a rolling mover out of pipes and just pushed and levied until they got it into place-took them some time and effort!

Mine were small round black stones. Depending on the layout, for those big boulders they can use a crane, a forklift, a bobcat (most likely), a powered wheelbarrow or 6 strong guys like the poster above mentioned.

I'd have to have mine delivered; no way those big rocks are going to fit into a Sonata without wrecking the suspension; and even if they didn't, there's no way I'd be able to lift them back out anyway.
