Bob's makes it seem like a Library to me, lol.

But on a serious note, if they are in a banquet room they shouldn't have man noise issues. You know what they say, a happy restaurant is a loud restaurant!

I also posed this question to a friend of mine who often travels to Dallas and takes clients out, and he had strong advice to definitely go to Pappas Bros. He said it is by far the favorite of all the places he brings people to dine.

Any thoughts on that? I know it's a few miles from the hotel, but he said it is worth it.
You can't go wrong with Pappas Bros.- great for the steak lover. Excellent wine selection as well.

What about Nana's Grill at the top of the Anatole itself? We had a Christmas party there two years ago and the food was very good. I haven't been there for a smaller group or individually in many years, but the view is outstanding of downtown Dallas...and of course, the convenience can't be beat. Just an idea...

It's now gone and SER has taken it's place. I'll be trying out SER tonight and will report back with a review!

Wow, how quickly things change. Thanks for the update. So, hopefully, the food is very good...something to match the view!

Everybody, your tips have been fantastic!

My only problem is that now my client has changed its mind and doesn't want to host a dinner anymore....instead, they want to host a cocktail party.

So, can anybody recommend an adequate venue for this? Some place where 20-25 people can be hosted in a somewhat intimate environment where hopefully some hour d'ouerves can be served as well?

It would be very helpful if it was within a few blocks, easy walking distance, from the Hilton (but not in the Hilton itself).

Does this exist?

Thanks so much everybody!
