Which are the best areas of Plano?

I've been looking at Willowbend. What other areas are nice?

I don't know many neighborhoods in Plano but I have always liked Lakeside on Preston, especially because of the lake/water.

I have friends in Red Wolf Estates, Cypress Point Estates and Avignon. All of those look very nice and my friends seems to enjoy living there. There are so many good ones but I remember being impressed by Willowbend Country and Ranchero Estates. I was looking at homes in that zip code when I was still married but then my needs changed and I ended up in a condo.

For the most part, anything west of Coit Rd is a good area. That includes the Deerfield area. Just slightly north of that area, and on the east side of Coit, there's a nice neighborhood along Hearst Castle called Forest Creek.

Typically, the further west you go, the newer the homes will be, but we saw a lot of great homes that had been renovated in the Deerfield area when we were looking last year and 5 years ago.

Deerfield is more North and good for under $400. Original poster is looking in $500-700 range. Ideal neighborhoods for that range are located between Preston to Midway and Spring Creek to Park Boulevard.

You're not going to find any homes in Deerfield under $400k. Not even close.

You are also cutting out all the neighborhoods between Preston and Coit... and there are quite a few with million dollar homes between Park and Legacy.
