I live north of Dallas and am looking for a gay-friendly primary care doctor. I know there are some great ones in the city, but I really need something close to Addison, Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, etc.

Thanks!

I don’t know anyone. However, you may be able to contact the Resource Center and see if they have a list of providers in the area.

How does a doctor being gay could somehow result in better treatment for gay folks? Unless there was a speciality that required gay medical knowledge. Strange request.

Doctors are people and some people are bigoted against gay people.

He didn't say he wants a gay doctor. He said he wants one that's gay friendly.

Considering alot of Dallas doctors are old school mentality with old money upbringings what he's asking isn't a strange request at all.......

As the previous poster mentioned, the OP didn't ask for a gay doctor. He asked for a gay-friendly doctor. It does seem like there could be some real benefit to this. For instance, there are all sorts of new PrEP products on the market that are primarily marketed toward the male homosexual community. If I were a gay male, I would want a doctor who was well-versed in these sorts of things.

Maybe OP just meant happy-friendly doctor. He never said he was gay.

So you're really, really opposed to the idea that you could be wrong, huh? You'd rather resort to total buffoonery than be wrong?
