Or there any teen football teams in Plano area for a 14 year old 5'-10" 185 lb boy?

Is the boy enrolled in school?

There is also something called the Texas Select Football League, which operates a spring football league. I'm not very familiar with them, but a coach for a McKinney team approached my sister at my nephew's final Middle School game. Give me a few minutes and I'll see if I can find out anything else.

You might check that website and see if you can find an answer to your questions.

He should be playing middle school ball. The season is half way over so he needs to prepare for freshman high school ball.

That's what I was thinking, but MS football is done. Those kids are moving on to basketball now.

There is a 6 on 6 league that happens early summer that many highschoolers participate in. Other than that he may want to see if there are any flag football teams around. Most kid play either basketball or baseball when football season is over.
