Hey there thelongerranger. I was one of the people who painted the wall on Forest Lane back in the 70's. It's between Cox Lane and Midway Rd. everyone that painted it went to W.T.White. I have pictures of the wall back then and have had friends send me picture of the wall today. Make's me happy to see them keep up the wall after all these years. Back then I had a yellow and black GTO and would race down Forest Lane. I had the best 8 track play in town and would Rock N Roll. fun times. A friend died on that road when his van hit the wall so I painted and eagle and the crack on the wall where the van hit the wall is part of the painting so they would not repair it. It marks where he died. Sorry to keep going on but there are so many times good and bad in my life on that road when. I know where one other artist is of the 4 still is. Yes I'm still painting.

my younger sister's boyfriend had a Boss 302 Mustang - blue with black stripe- he restored himself. We would cruise Forest Lane in late 70s/early 80s. Occasionally he would bust that car out on a Friday night. Awesome Times!

wow...i'm sitting in my house, holding my breath and listening nervously after just making a 911 call to alert the police to the gunshots i just heard a few houses down from me which incidentally is near the intersection of marsh and forest. just as a side note to anyone who may be slightly curious - this neighborhood is crap and filled with dangerous Mexicans who play loud music, fill the street with beat up vehicles, shoot each other, break into houses and steal from their neighbors.

after stumbling into this site and reading a few posts about how Asian or expensive this part of town is i felt compelled to inject some reality into your subject. Hope nobody minds as i'm sure this neighborhood was great at some point in the past.

Not only do I have pic.'s from back then I have ton's of memories from them. Wish we could get the old gang back together. Found a few but need more.Would anyone have any intrest in getting the old group together from back then.(1975 to 1980). Remember sitting up on Forest in front of Taco Inn, Arbey's, Pizza Inn, Hannahs Pie's, KFC, just to name a few. This was when being a teen and street racer was fun and crazy. R.L. Turner, W.T.White, Thomas Jefferson street racers, oh yeah and the Prep Schools.lol

Sometimes we Woodrow Wildcats ventured up there but it seemed to be the north pole back then.. '75 to '80 was my era! I had a '76 Camaro - silver with red interior of course...
