I would pick Allen, because I would pick Allen ISD over Plano ISD.

No kidding. My daughter has a TON of friends in the PISD schools in Murphy. Most of them are families that are regular church going, involved in the kids lives, etc. I think the OP would be surprised at the number of "white bread American" the area looks like. Oh, this also includes "wheat bread American".
Just saying they look like your average family and chasing kids to soccer, lacrose, hockey games.

Take a drive out there if you have not. Go in the stores and see the demographics. All of the stores are new and really nice. There is a new Sprouts there as well. Several good places to eat as well. Has a totally different vibe than the west side of Plano.

Shes right...the drive through fm544 in Murphy looks similar to the drive through southlake
