My son will be turning 10, I was thinking of having his party there. I just can't find any reviews, or information other than what's on their website.
Does anyone have first hand experience with either having a party at the museum, or attending one?
I am open to other ideas as well. I'd like to stay W of 75, N of 635, S of 121 and we could go as far as Castle Hills I guess.
Oh yes, money does matter. I don't want to spend a fortune!

That looks like an interesting place to have a b-day party...not the usual lasertag b-day that you seem to see with kids who are 10. I'm keeping this one in my backpocket - thanks for mentioning it!

I went to a Bar Mitzvah party there about 15 years ago.

The kiddos were all about 13 years old and we had a good time. I seem to remember people in costume and someone churrning butter...

Cant remember any other details though, sorry.

Thanks for the replies.
I guess it's not a very popular place! We went to one of those Saturday concerts and had a lovely time, but having a party for kids is very different. I love the place, I hope it's fun for the kids as well!
I'm still hoping for more info...

I don't know about a party there, but my son's class has gone on a field trip there. I would guess the theme would be an 1800s birthday party, with period games and treats. My gut says it would be fun for smart kids, not so much for regular kids.
